Day 02 : To Mandawa / Alsisar (Shekhawati Region) – by surface / 242 kms / approx 5-6 hrs
In the heart of the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan lies the beautiful small town Mandawa, known throughout the state for its forts and havelis and famous for its painted mansions (havelis) The Shekhawati region also gives you a glimpse of is a semi-desert area.
Explore / walk around the town to explore the various attractions. Situated in the middle of the town, the Mandawa Fort has been converted into a heritage hotel.
The route gives you some more experience of desert landscapes. In 1488 the city was founded on the edge of the Thar Desert. Visit the massive Junagarh Fort built in the 16th Century, Drive to Karni Devi Temple in Deshnoke. Thousands of rats are spoiled here by the faithful with candy and cereal.
Drive through the middle of the desert of Thar. The Thar Desert route to Jaisalmer. Jaislamer is built on a mountain and also surrounded with high walls which protected the city from all the assaults of by gone centuries.
Day to explore the city. The most impressiveis the Patwonki-Haveli which is an interesting piece of Architecture and is the most important among the havelis in Jaisalmer.
An interesting day where you get to experience the age old tradition of transportation. During the past period all local used to travel in camel caravans for trading. Ride towards the directions of the desert. You will disembark at your overnight camp close to sunset. A breath taking view.
Commence your journey after breakfast and sunrise. The journey will take you back to the starting pint via a different route. Spend some time exploring the area before returning to Jaisalmer. The afternoon is free for independent activities.
Explore Jodhpur at your own pace. There are several tourist attractions here to visit one of them is the magnificent Meherangarh Fort from where you will have a great view of the blue houses, painted to distinguish them as those of Brahmins.
In the morning proceed to Ranakpur via Narlai. It is surrounded by Aravalli hills; and situated in an ancient dwelling, at the foot of a hill, dotted with caves and temples. It is a village in Desuri tehsil of Pali district. Jeep Safari into nearby Forests where Deer, Leopards and Chitals can be spotted.
On the way a brief stop to visit the stunning 15th Century Jain Temple at Ranakpur and its Jain Temples of Adinath. After the visit continue your drive through the awesome landscape of the Mewar’s small hills. Udaipur is a beautiful land around the azure water lake, surrounded by the lush hills of Aravalli. Situated on the east side of Lake Pichola
Day 11 : In Udaipur – venice of the east
Wander through the narrow streets of the old town and visit the markets to experience the traditional culture and beauty of India. Here you can find myriads of handicrafts with heart touching beauty.
We spend the morning visiting the City Palace and Jagdish Temple, with a huge black stone image of Jagannath, an aspect of Lord Vishnu. If time allows it may be possible to visit the gardens of Gulab Bag. Enjoy a boat ride on Lake Piccholaand experience the true beauty of this "City of Lakes
Today your journey takes to you to Chittorgarh, the old capital of the kingdom of Mewar. Visit of the huge fortress with its ramparts overhanging the plain. After the visit continue to drive to Bundi.This small town is away from the bustling urban place. It is picturesquely situated in a narrow valley of the Aravalli foot hills
Go on safari, accompanied by a trained naturalist, and observe the abundant wildlife of the forest of Ranthambore, a former Maharaja's hunting ground. Experience the thrill of tracking the King of the Jungle - the tiger. You'll never forget the first time you see one!

You begin your day with an early morning excursion to the mountain fortress of which you ride upon elephants Visit City Palace & Hawa Mahal or Palace of the Winds
Drive to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri. Visit the Red Fort of Akbar, third of the Moghul Emperors.
Rise early to visit the beautiful white marble Taj Mahal at sunrise; built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
