This backwater journey through the narrow canals crossing exquisite villages of Kerala, embellished with lush green paddy fields, tall coconut grooves makes it a most spell binding site.

Following buffet breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Cochin Visit the Dutch Palace (Closed on Fridays and Jewish Holidays) is also known as Mattancherry Palace built by the Portuguese and presented to the Raja of Cochin in 1555 AD. Jewish Synagogue (Closed on Fridays, Saturdays and Jewish Holidays) was built in 1568 AD. ST. Francis Church - the Protestant church was originally built by the Portuguese in 1510 AD and is believed to be the oldest church built by the Europeans in India. You will be taken to a Kathakali dance center where you will witness the most elaborate of the dance forms in southern India.
After breakfast you will be driven from Cochin to Munnar. Munnar is the nature-lover’s paradise. In the vicinity is the Eravikulam National Park, the home of the endangered Nilgiri Thar that roams on a stretch of grassland or is seen climbing the pinnacles of the undulating hills. Late afternoon, you will go for a stroll in Tea Estates. Meet the local people engaged in tea Industry.
After breakfast you will be driven from Munnar to Thekkady. Upon arrival proceed to check in at your hotel. In the afternoon you will proceed to Periyar National Park to view the wildlife by boat.
After breakfast you will be driven from Thekkady to Kumarakom visiting Spice Plantation in Thekkady. In the lush backwaters of Kottayam in Kerala, lies a veritable paradise, which is called Kumarakom, or the 'Venice of the East'. You will proceed for a Sun set cruiseon Vembanad Lake. You will come across many rare species of birds present in the Kumarakom bird sanctuary, returning to their nests with the sunset.
Enjoy leisurely buffet breakfast at the hotel. Complete day is free for relaxation. Lie in a hammock on this lakeshore, and allow your senses to possess you. The great Vembanad Lake, rippling under the vault of an impossiblylarge sky. Optional: Lunch at Philipkutty’s Farm.
Day 07 : To Cochin – by surface / 60 kms / approx. 2 hrs
Morning leisurely buffet breakfast in hotel morning is at leisure. In the afternoon you will proceed to embarkation point to board houseboat cruise from Kumarakom to Alleppey. This is an unforgettable journey passing through the coconut-palmed canals. Lunch will be provided on board houseboat.
Optional: In the evening you will proceed to Ms. Nimmy Paul’s House, for cooking demonstration followed by home cooked dinner in a friendly ambience
Upon arrival in Cochin you will be straight away transferred to the airport to board flight for onward destination.

Day 08 : To Mararikulam – by surface /65 kms/ approx. 01 hr
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven from Cochin to Mararikulam
Marari Beach Resort, located 60 kilometres from Kochi, set in 25 acres of Coconut Palm groves leading down to the vast expanse of beach. Remainder of the day will be at leisure for independent activities.

After breakfast, the day will be at leisure.

After a leisurely buffet breakfast, morning will be at leisure. Later in time you will be transferred from Mararikulam to Cochin. Upon arrival in Cochin straight away transferred to the airport to board flight for onward destination.
